For this event Weinhart Design did not have a exhibiting room. My thinking was anyone in the Greater Los Angeles area can easily get a proper demo in our world class Audio & Video Showroom nested in the scenic hills of Bel Air, but will consider doing one or something interesting next year.
To help the The Los Angeles and Orange County Audio Society (I'm a Vice President) and one of the earliest supporters of the club even "before BL" or should I say the beloved Bob Levi. Anyone knowing Bob knows that his love for music and Audio, enthusiasm, energy, leadership and friendship is un surpassed.
This year I'm not doing a "Show Report" but do want to give some "Two Thumbs Up" or a honorable mention to the following rooms:
1) Meridian did a cost no object room featuring their Reference Video System The 810 Projector a 10 Mega Pixel System on a 16 foot screen
with a full Digital Active Speaker System and best in the world surround processor the Meridian 861 V-6. A similar system can be experienced
in my showroom but the 810 projector exceeds anything you have ever seen.
2) Magico in three rooms. Two pairs of Q-5's and a pair of the new Q-3's (available for audition here at Weinhart Design).
3) EAR room with the Martin Speakers.
4) MBL had their line up of Omni Directional speakers and incredible electronics on display.
5) Von Sweikert VR-33's. The signature version is usually available to audition in our showroom.
6) Audion tube amps & Zingali Zero Speakers.
7) Harmonic Tech Room. |
